Some Tid Bits

Some Tid BitsHi there,

(i) I saw somewhere on twitter today that Brookfield DTLA is putting one of the DTLA buildings up for sale and I am not sure if this is just due process or they really plan to sell it and if so, this is where things could get interesting in terms of how they play out and the associated headlines.  The DTLA 10 million preferred shares with a $25 par value (ie $250M) are long ago wiped out.

(ii) I looked at the Nov 15 short report today and the total BPO shares shorted in the last week was higher by 50,000 shares but seems like more of the same as the volumes have seemed higher.

My favourite one, the N series, increased by 20% over this 2 week period and shorts were over 20% of the volume.   Scary stuff but it also tells me if BPY brings any positive strategic news, these BPO shares will bounce straight up.

Have a good weekend!
Carena
