It's a temporary thing sooner or later institutions will want to show profit and just as easy as it is for them to knock share price down so too will it be to drive share price up. Of course to subscribe to this hypotheses one also has to subscribe to the idea that the reason volume is low is nobody is selling.
With all due respect gibbonsj, you have been trying to sell this same hypotheses for a very long time. Lets talk one institutions holding of Quipt shares, that is Beacon securities. Very long time supporter of the stock, so what are they waiting for?
They could easily move the price up and start creating sellable volume on a daily basis, as well as other house's and exit some of their position. The question is do they want to do this? In other words how many years do they want to hold from this point and will their target prices ever come into play?
The SP was nicely on the move, until the surprise announcement of that horrible PP and what came with it, Greg had no choice but to cancel and the stock has thus far not recovered. There is now some debt on the books, yes it appears manageable, higher borrowing costs makes it tougher for the acquisition strategy.
So without new investment dollars and a stock that trades microcap volume who is going buy this thing? Right now Institutional house's are the only ones who can change this stagnant scenario, if they are holding for the next couple of years, it will be tough sledding for the SP in my view.
