3 Laws of the Robots:

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
  2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
  3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

Your issue falls under Law 2 which does not conflict with Law 1 as Law 1 is deemed as a 'Physical' enactment.

A human being set up the robot to trade the market, it must obey those orders. Obeying those orders do not cause physical harm to you or any other humans. It only harms your feelings and wallet, apperently.

I don't personally mind the robots trading, they are on algorithms (the real word you call "manipulation"), I am not, when the algorithm breaks down, I can potentially identify it and make purchases or sales that I'm pleased with. Also, I set up my own robots to trade, if you use limit orders, stops ect, your getting a robot to trade for you...
