Weekly Stats And Saturday Evening ScotchWow, what a fantastic week for gold, toping with an all time high and highest weekly close ever! A raise of 4.4%. Senior miners (GDX) followed the trend raising by 5.1% and the juniors doubled that increasing by 10%!
SGNL has also followed the trend, hitting a weekly high of 17.5 cents but finishing the week at 14 cents, 12% higher than the previous week. People paid in average 8% more than last week, ending a sequence of 10 weeks in the negative for that stats. I guess that some early tax loss sellers and shorters bought back this week. We also got a "not so clear" NR giving a status on permitting process. No drill results yet.
Take a sip of your favorite Scotch [on that note longagau, it would have been nice to have a sip of the one you owe me... ;) ] and let speculate a bit together while waiting for those drill results which are overdue:
- Why Rob and Kevin did not participate in the last PP? Are they in Blackout?
- If so, the NR we got this week is certainly not "material change"... not justifying the blackout (if there is one)
- If they are in blackout (again speculation here), is it because of the pending drill results? Could it be for another reason? Any guess?
With gold hitting ATH, I'm starting to feel the franzy...
