RE:BPO

RE:BPO
Different strokes for different folks.

Personally, my wife and I have started to accumulate BPO.PR.A since the end of October.

Why?  Because they reset at this time next year.

Currently they trade at around $10.20 and pay $1.18

On December 1st 2024 they will reset at "Canada 5 year" plus 3.15%

Projecting 3.0% for Canada 5 year results in a new dividend of $1.54 or approximately 15% based on current market price.

Our present plan is to hold our 7,200 BPO.PR.T until April 2024 by which time we expect the market price to properly reflect the new higher dividend rate of $1.70.  Then sell some BPO.PR.T and buy BPO.PR.A with the proceeds.
