Put yourself into the shoes of the CEO or CFO. Would you issue (B/E) guidance at this point? If I was them, I certainly wouldn’t. XTRA hasn’t reached the size where numbers are predictable. Each new deal, even if not humongous, changes their financial situation. Then there are the potentially meaningful pending deals. Would you include them in your forecasts? I surely wouldn’t,
Good companies / long term investments don’t grow based on promises. They grow based on actual results and XTRA certainly seems to be on the right path.
