If this posters information is even remotely correct,then POET product doesnt even come close to cutting it, for the reasons stated.
1.Compatible and or Superior products out there.
2.Poet product is too expensive
In fact, sounds like POET has more than their share of strong competiton up to 800G and has already missed the boat.
Take what you will from the dude's Post,but Seems to all make perfect sense to me..
contrary to Management acclaims,they do not have the best mousetrap,which is likely the reason why they fail to score any wins..JMO

e.g. why would Luxshare showcase a 800g transceiver with a Poet RX engine but no Poet TX engine, especially when Poet announced develop of TX engines months earlier? As a potential Luxshare customer, I'm simply going to wait until Luxshare comes out with a 800g transceiver that has both a Poet RX and TX engine. I don't want to do iteration after interation.
