Top contrarian trade idea: Dream Office REIT

Top contrarian trade idea: Dream Office REIT

Good article by Nugget Capital mentioning Dream as a top idea for 2024:

"H&R REIT recently last week completed a $232 million deal in downtown Toronto on an office building with an implied value of $485 per square foot, still low by historical terms but $147 per square foot higher than Dream Office’s implied core downtown portfolio. If we up Dream’s value to $450, we get approximately $10 extra per unit price which would make Dream Office from its current value nearly a double. However, we think there is even more value than that here as this REIT also has 3.3 million square feet of downtown Toronto residential zoning carried at $80 per square foot"
