And is willing to take the risk knowing TLT moves at a snail's pace selling now and safely buying back in the new year and having a very nice capital loss in their accounts.
Certainly could be. I was merely speculating. Such a big dump into the bid at the open on a Friday has certain optics to it but it could just as well be a weak handed retail investor who's tax loss selling timing seems pretty awful. But hey, if that .16 support doesn't hold then he/she could come out smelling like a rose and buy back in 30 days at .12 or so. Hopefully .16 holds but I'm still of the belief that there's some funny business going on. Shorts outstanding as of Dec 15th are down to about 25K so whoever the sharks are that have covered can reload/play games all day long with this stock as long as the next liquidity crunch is as predictable as Roger keeps making it.
