The buck has to stop somewhere.

The buck has to stop with the CEO. Poet needs a business CEO, somebody who is INTERESTED in running a PUBLIC company. The current CEO wishes that Poet was a private club and acts accordingly.

The current CEO is only interested in pacifying shearholders with meaningless one liners as "up and to the right", "soon" and "Poet is on the putting green". Sounds good, but no substitute for real reporting. Just enough to silence shearholder for the moment.
