RE:RE:RE:More fun facts

My lady is driving a 2010 Japanese mid size sedan. Except for recalls which is a free repair, we had to replace tires. Also batteries a few times because she hates opening the garage door and always keeps the car outside. By replacing the battery every 4-5 years depending on the make, we make sure that the car will always start when it's cold.
The last thing on earth we need an EV because we often use the sedan for long distance driving and it often happens during Christmas / new year holidays when it's cold and the use of the heater cuts the range and requires frequent stops to recharge.

She won't drive an SUV so we booked a new compact sedan that the dealer said may take about 9-12 months to deliver.

From the investment point of view, if EVs are widely adopted, I would switch my portfolio to heavy oil producers. Compared to similar size top selling ICE vehicles, EVs are at least 1,000 pounds heavier, doing more damage to roads. And they use bigger tires that wear out faster due to heavy weight.
Lots of asphalt and lots of synthetic rubber driving up the demand for heavy oil. Buy heavy oil, Lol.
