RE:Technology is making a difference, you need the right dirt! There is a story - which I can't find at the moment - that one of the big E&P's has found a new drilling or completion method to get a lot more boe? from a well. I don't know if it's true or not but generally I do believe better methods will be found in the years ahead that will make shale even more competitive.  Which of course if you have a lot of locations remaining - like Kelt - will be hugely beneficial. It makes sense that this is in the cards in light of Pioneer acquisition which seems to be a mature play but perhaps is not.

Also from my studies albeit amateur of natural gas, dry gas seems will be challenged going forward and will need fiscal discipline and consolidation because liquids rich plays may care even less about gas prices than they do today.
