Market capsA good measure of the perceived value of a stock, asset or commodity is its market value or cap.
Right now, bitcoin is making another run.
Surely, many are developing a case of FOBO. The total MC of bitcoin is a little under a trillion.
The MCs of several individual stocks are above a trillion. 
The MC of gold is near 15 trillion. I guess this is just for the sake of comparison. But it does show that bitcoin is the new kid on the block. 
Will it rise up to be king, or will it flounder, and die a miserable death. Only THE SHADOW knows.
