Industry players wanted control of it all and to leave CZO with a small royalty. Gilles said no to any Mickey Mouse deal and said he would license applications only. Using the feedback and intelligence gained in conversations with industry Gilles used the prototype PGX-OBG as a path to better address industry needs. Numerous second-generaiton carriers were created and tested. PGX-YBG and PGX-Alginate were what resulted and now these carriers are being scaled up with Natex. PGX-YBG/CoQ10 blows away PGX-OBG/CoQ10 in terms of bioavailability. PGX-YBG can also be inhaled unlike other YBG. PGX-YBG is 5X more immune stimulative and can be swallowed by macrophages. PGX-YBG appears to be a Trojan Horse that can hijack macrophages for superior delivery in the body. PGX-YBG and PGX-Alginate are also simpler and less costly to process than PGX-OBG.
Gilles also brought Ronnie Miller onto the Board of Directors and as Chairman to help define a path beyond Mickey Mouse deals. News release: "
Gilles Gagnon, M.Sc., MBA, President and CEO of Ceapro, added, “Mr. Miller brings invaluable experience in managing and building international pharmaceutical companies..." Now, instead of a Mickey Mouse deal CZO sits on the threshold of having complete control of second-generation carriers informed by talks with industry(PGX-YBG and PGX-Alginate) that could set a new standard in billion dollar markets. PGX is on the verge of commercial scale for the first time with industry leader Natex. After talks with serious potential partners concerning PGX deals the AEZS merger has been announced to provide the necessary capital to support strong partnerships. Ronnie Miller believes this is the best path forward. CZO sits on the threshold of disrupting billion dollar markets not as a Mickey Mouse parter but as a real player and partner of significance.
