RE:RekorI did have a quick look since it’s the weekend and I must admit that I don’t comprehend what they are all about and what benefits they supply to their customers. To me they seem to be another company cashing in on the AI boom with very little similarities to GSI who uses AI for very real solutions to very specific, proven and tangible problems in the public transit sector.
That said, the comparison you offer is relevant in terms of US vs CAN microcap valuation. A GSI trading on Nasdaq even with limited promotion would command a VERY different market cap. There are various options to get to Nasdaq. Some quick. Some longer term. I doubt DD will take the fast route as it would seriously dilute / hurt current shareholders.
The IMHO sensible scenario for current shareholders is to give DD a few years to grow GSI / execute his vision and then get bought out at a much higher valuation than the current one.
