RE:Kalloghlian Myers Thx Dale
I pay almost zero attention to any class actions by Law firms against stocks that I own.
It's common practice to see various Firms attempting to put such actions in place in the hopes of signing up investors who may perceive that they have somehow been intentionally wronged. One prerequisite ( some might say the only?) seems to be a sudden drop in share price regardless of the reason.
it's almost a badge of honour to see them appear out of nowhere for a stock that you happen to own.
I'll use your example of Ivanhoe. I've been a shareholder of that stock since it was under $1. Its had a few setbacks along the way but now trades at over $13 a share. I always skip over any "news" of a new class action .
I got into IVN many years ago as a result of several interviews on the stock given by famed resource investor Rick Rule. Rick has always had high praise for IVN and in particular the people & underlying resources behind it. Near as I can tell, he continues to have similar confidence in EDV as well.
Thanks for looking into the matter and reassuring investors who might otherwise panic at the sign of attempted class actions by firms that "specialize" in bringing them forward.
