LoneguardianGood to know at least Firstword and Suppe11 have an understanding of the Rules of the Game and how it's played in Candyland!

1)    Nobody ever gets Prosecuted for Insider trading in Canada.
2)   Nobody ever gets prosecuted for Transacting with less than Arms length companies where they hid the "relationship",    or misappropriation of corporate funds.

So if you think that the principals and close "friends and family"  of EOG didn't know the oil was Heavy on that first Presser,  and they thought they hit that column of Light or medium oil,  and it wasn't discovered that it was heavy oil until the second well was announced,   then you shouldn't be investing in E&P.

So just because there were no or limited insider tradfing reports on the SEDI filings,   doesn't mean they all  were not transacting in their offshore broker accounts,  or thru the "friends and family"  plan.

Hey   maybe in 20 years there will be carbon capture tech that can be used on that Block and they can get the Heavy to flow,   and EOG will not be leading that operation.   That's for sure.
