RE:RE:Loukas and Kavern are abject failures by their own words.Doodie, you are a fraud and a failure like Loukas. You have been exposed. You keep denying the the truth because you are a pumper. Like most Liberals you make up your own reality when you don't like what you see. These are the facts and this is the truth. Oh and by the way, my cost basis as I have posted before is .46 US presplit. I am still invested because of the assets described by the late great Rick George when he was CEO as "world class". The current management, however, is not monitizing it to create what Loukas promised which is increased shareholder value. That is what a CEO is supposed to do for its investors. That is why Loukas is an abject failure. His hedge fund is almost completely gone having once had over $300 million under management. The main thing he has done to date is take care of his own personal wealth sucking up the compensation program he created. But nothing for the OBE investors in the way of increased shareholder value.I guess now that he is sucking up that compensation money shareholder value isn't very important any more. The clock is ticking on Mr. Loukas as for you you are done in the eyes of the readers on this board. You lack credibility and you are a liar Kavern aka MR Pumper.
Here is proof:
Activist FrontFour is said to push for sale of Obsidian Energy
WED, DEC 13, 2017 - 11:31 AM
[NEW YORK] Activist investor FrontFour Capital Group is urging Obsidian Energy to explore a sale, arguing the company could fetch twice as much as its current share price, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The decision to push for a sale comes four years after FrontFour started to build its position in the embattled Calgary-based oil and gas producer, which was formerly known as Penn West Petroleum. It's now FrontFour's third-largest investment, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
It also comes after Obsidian Chairman Rick George, the father of FrontFour co-founder Zach George, died in August.
FrontFour, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, said last month it owns about 5.6 per cent of Obsidian in stocks and options and has met with management to discuss ways to unlock value for its shareholders. The activist fund believes the company could fetch C$2.75 to C$3 a share at auction, or almost double where it traded Tuesday, said the person, who asked not to be identified because the matter is private.
Ok,Loukas said he thought OBE was worth $2.40 US presplit in 2017. That equates to a $16.8 US post split price today. But that does not include the debt reduction that has ocurred since then as well as the purchase of the balance of the Peace River asset, unbooked drill locations or tax pools. Those items put OBE today way over $20 US per share based on Loukas's own words. Loukas like you continue who continue to praise his efforts are self described abject failures. OBE price as I am writing: $6.68 US. You can post until you are blue in the face it will never erase the truth Kavern aka Mr. Pumper.
