RE:RE:RE:RE:Just saw whereTheWokeLemming wrote: It's amazing how much negative is being posted here about the future of EVs and lithium from supposed E3 investors. Makes me wonder why they're here. Also makes me more inclined to hang on tighter to my shares.
Three possible objectives to posting negative comments, IMO:
- Altruistic bystander. The poster wants to save others from losing money. They may have been burned.
- Short seller. The poster wants to drive the price down to increase their profit.
- Prospective buyer or accumulator. The poster wants to drive the price down to pick up cheap shares.
- A reasonable person who may or may not own shares, and may be considering whether to take a long or short position, or add to or reduce their holdings based on reasonable discussion.
The first 3 posters are just noise, and not interested in reasonable discussion. They may affect the share price temporarily (e.g. 15 minutes, a day or two if they have deep pockets). The last type of poster is who, IMO, makes it worth reading these comments. They usually provide links to the information they share, and their comments aren't always black and white.
