Interesting update from Tesla Tesla confirmed Giga Texas will be the location where the new model (smaller/economic model) will be manufactured.
We know that Giga Texas is building a brand new, state of the art, CAM facility beside the battery cell plant.
We know that the new model (small/economic model) will use LFP chemistry for the battery cells.
We know there is a good chance that Nano and Tesla have been working together since the 2020 Nano News Release regarding entering into evaluations with an American, global, EV manufacturer.
We know Tesla, of anyone, is not affraid to break the mold and embrace new techology that can give them an advantage.
Still very speculative that One Pot will be adopted at Giga Texas. But of any global facilities that have been announced or are currently being constructed, I believe Giga Texas is the most likely to deploy One Pot for LFP.
