OREPro3D: Revolutionizing Mining Efficiency After the introduction of enhanced mining practices in late October, Argnonaut Gold's operations have consistently yielded an increase in feed grade to the mill, averaging at or surpassing the life of mine reserve grade (1.15 g/t). The enhancements at the Magino Mine encompass increased ore selectivity and more efficient dilution control, aiming to bring the operational outcomes in line with the Magino Technical Report.
Regarding OREPro3D, a solution offered by Orica, a leader in the blasting industry, it is anticipated that the installation and training for Argonaut Gold’s OREPro3D were finalized by the end of 2023. The Fleet Management System (FMS) provides operators with GPS guidance, ensuring precise identification of ore and waste, boosting mining productivity, and increasing haulage capacity. Orica, a major entity in the blasting industry, offers a range of strategies to reduce overbreak and damage, streamline costs and scheduling, and improve control of the blasted profile. One of these strategies includes minimizing the haulage of surplus muck, which can be achieved through efficient drill control and blasting. The reduction in waste materials will result in an increased haulage capacity of ore to the mill, effectively allowing the company to process or stockpile additional materials.
It can be inferred that following the implementation of OREPro3D, there could be a further increase in the feed grade to the mill, potentially consistently exceeding the life of mine reserve grade.
