The company's ore does contain "deleterious elements", but whether there's release of these nasties into the local water supply in the normal course of mining ops, I really don't know.
Thanks Templteooth - re: the tailing ponds question. if memory serves - both Albino and Mackay (?) were both deemed to be "dead lakes"...no fish resident and no exiting river system below. The water came down from runoff - pooled in what became the lake - and evaporated. Ideal from a permitting standpoint. The question from UK investor was valid (and is an issue for many mine companies) - but not here. Also relationships with our First-nations hosts are very good (so much so that they are also shareholders).
