RE:Divvy: not sure what's expected but likely between 1&2 cent We will see.
The balance sheet is the priority. Pay down debt, maintain cashflow, build a reserve.
Much as we all want to see a return of a dividend, and from there a return to the income trust model where the payout increases to 50% of free funds flow, the base for this will be the balance sheet. At present it seems to be all that matters to any of the companies.
Some day soon this will happen. But it might not be now. A penny or two per share dividend would be a great signal, but it the administrative cost of paying it might be better allocated to the balance sheet issue while we wait for prices to firm up so there is no question that this can be sustained.
The Dec presentation does not give us the numbers I need to firm up any prediction. I trust that Bonterra continue to under-promise and I hope that it over-delivers. This will be steady-as-she-goes progress. And it might be enough to fix the start of a return of the dividend.
