E3 Lithium Ltd V.ETL

Alternate Symbol(s):  EEMMF

E3 Lithium Ltd. is a Canada-based lithium resource company. The Company is focused on commercial development of lithium extraction from brines contained in its mineral properties in Alberta. The Company’s Clearwater Project is located between Red Deer and Calgary in Alberta. Its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on-exchange technology uses a sorbent designed to be selective towards lithium ions. Its technology reduces volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing nearly all impurities. This produces a clean product for the development of high purity lithium compounds used in Li-ion batteries. The Company has measured and indicated lithium resources in Canada, with 16.2 million tons (Mt) measured and indicated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), hosted in the Leduc Aquifer. In addition, it has 0.9 Mt of inferred mineral resources in its Rocky Area.

RE:Excellent read.

RE:Excellent read.I agree britishracer, it is an excellent read! It seems that lithium carbonate and Li hydroxide prices have fully entered the 'commodity' phase and therefore are similar to oil prices in that spot markets and term (contract) markets exist. There will soon be an ability for companies to hedge pricing to provide stability to pricing of their production.

She also discusses the factors that have led to reduced lithium demand, specifically the factors that have resulted in reduced EV sales, included higher interest rates, concerns about EV range, etc. It makes one wonder how poorly governments have forecasted considering the billions incentives they have poured into battery plants, etc.

In the long run, I still believe the lithium market will experience a tight supply/demand which will lead to higher Li prices. It just sucks to be holding stock at this point waiting for that to happen. JMHO DYODD
