The gold is extracted from other parts. We ended up receiving orders from the European Commission. I told you last time that we will end up paying compensation for Roia Montan because there are some obligations, look who is leading us. People who have skeletons in the closet and cannot decide for Romania, but others decide for them. It was decided that if we want to be left alone, we will have to pay this amount of 3.8 billion euros. Hence the desperation of those in the Government because they can no longer find this money. We have to borrow. The arrival of the IMF is no stranger to these issues," said Diana ooac, president of SOS Romania.
The president of SOS Romania mentioned that the whole situation at Roia Montan was created for the rare metals found there and not for gold.
"We are caught in the middle by some functional illiterates who have sold the country. We should not have to pay anything because the contractual conditions are not met, they are Romanian assets in the public domain and cannot be alienated. We should be compensated, but these things are done behind closed doors. How do you give Roia Montan without an auction? Most of Romania's properties were then given away, industry was destroyed. Shouldn't Adrian Nstase tell us what he was promised in this exchange? It is one thing for a person who has no legal training to do these things. He was a university professor, the court says it is serious that you should have seen these things. As prime minister, you cannot sign and appoint your ministers.
