RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:IS COMPANY LOW ON CASH OR IS THERE ANOTHER REASON ? I'm really hoping during the next earnings call that Evans can be pinned down as to what the hell is really going on with the DHS application process.
Based on both the posted application time on the DHS Safety Act page, and the time it is taking other companies to obtain ( at the very least) a designation level approval, we are way behind schedule. Average is 120 days after completed submission.
Two other points of interest on the DHS website:
• OSAI has reduced SAFETY application processing times and
the number of applications being evaluated beyond the
regulatory timeline from more than 50 percent in January
2022 to less than 25 percent as of January 2023.
• The SAFETY Act leverages support from other DHS
component anti-terrorism programs such as the
Transportation Security Administration’s Certified Cargo
Screening Program; Federal Emergency Management
Agency grants assessment program for emergency
response; the CISA Hardening Soft Targets Program,
Protective Security Advisor program, and Chemical Facility
Anti-Terrorism Standards.
So DHS has actually sped up the application process, AND appear to take into consideration TSA approved screening programs.
Yet with all this, we still seem to be getting repeatedly "RFI'd" by DHS. There are either issues with the Gateway, or Xtract is bungling the application process.
Evans just seems to add another "very" onto the "soon" in each successive webinar. Add the fact that Xtract initially applied as a "developmental testing" technology rather than for full designation, and there is a lot of vagueness and omission going on.
