This is crazy man

This is crazy manAnother very fragile REIT recovery trade since November stalls dead in its tracks for the fourth time this year.   How many more times is this going to play out? It started with Powell pushing back on cut expectations then followed up with a bad CPI number to give the hard FLUSH.  Couldnt write a better horror story for the sector. Whats the next shoe to drop? A wobbling bank? A bad FEB cpi so the fed starts discussing hikes again?

The good REITS are still holding up a bit stronger but that seems like on the cusp of changing as today they all started rolling over.

Inflation is no longer being created by excess demand in my view.  Its because its such a forefront topic in the economy that these businesses feel obligated or inclined to bump prices whereas before they didnt realize how effortless it could be done and sort of is there in terms of expectations.

Run a propoganda campaign to convince the masses we are in DEFLATION and watch that actually happen
