Fidelity take on lithium

Fidelity take on lithiumThey have their 2024 annual speil about best choices in various sectors.  In the materials sector they like copper. They don't like lithium, saying there is plenty around and they are steering clients away from lithium.  They may be right short term but I think FL still a good pick with large resource, purity of deposit, surface location amenable to mining, length and width of deposit, location in NA suitable for contributing to a NA supply chain for lithium which is badly needed. There are other similar areas in Canada so it will be important to press ahead quickly, which has not been their strength.

I have added a little more during this brutal drop. I am  just going to sit on my shares (very small piece of balanced portfolio) and see what happens ove rnext couple of years. I am not adding more but I am also not going to sell.
