Chord buys Enerplus - Who gets PAID?This has been my biggest fear. Zero or very small premium deals. Shareholders get a single digit return, what about Mgmt?
Ian Dundas (CEO) will make around $1.75M on the shares he owns (deal premium). The 'Change of Control' language in his Employment Contract will see him make nearly $50M. Common shareholders get crumbs while Mgmt rides off into the sunset with plenty.
We should all be asking if Mgmt is truly alligned with us common shareholders.
