jmaan, I feel your frustration. However Crawford has always had his game plan for running this company as I'm sure you are aware. I can assure you based on all the institutional holders and fund managers holding this stock he will not care about retail shareholders or what we think he should be doing.
Trading volume in Canada is pathetic, not much better most days in the U.S. Why do we even trade on a stock exchange in Canada? I'm told it's because the largest institutional holder Clarett Asset management is in Canada. Doesn't make sense to me, they could easily buy and sell on the Nasdaq.
I have said it before, Crawford shot himself in the foot with that rediculous below market financing and that ATM, the stock has never recovered since. It was the institutional holders that voiced there concerns regarding the ATM and got it removed. It is also very likely many of those that participated in the PP, shorted the stock and basically got free warrants. Yes folks that's how the game works and it is not illegal, yet. Changes are in the works.
This is a growing company, revenue shows us that, however earnings are predicted to be flat this year and the company now has debt. Right now there is very little interest, trading volume on both sides of the border continues to prove that. They tell us they are meeting with institutional investors and busy on that front in 2024, big whoop, what's it accomplishing?
It's going to be a long haul, unless Quipt gets taken out and we have all heard that one before. What kind of offer would entice Crawford to sell the company and all his shares?
