RE:The Future With all due respect (and I really do mean that sincerely), in my opinion that clearly was the foundational narrative 3 yrs ago to justify a spec turnaround play like S, at least clear for me.. unfortunately for me what was N O T at all clear to me in my opinion was the combined massive destabilizing forces waiting 12 months down the road:
-Russian govt's Ukraine invasion;
-Chinese govt orchestrating Ni price collapse via Indonesia instead of dealing with their pressing economic issues at home;
-the US Fed's total misreading of inflation by not "signalling" via increasing rates just a smidgen 3 yrs ago, opting instead for a shockingly rapid increase in rates when they waited too long.
In no particular order and I am sure there is more to that list.
