Just an observation. It's not about the coin, it's about the infrastructure. Imagine if you will, the coin is not the result of building the infrastructure, but the reward for building the infrastructure. If a countries dollar can suddenly become worthless, so can the coins generated via mining. If coins go to zero, what will become of the "machines"? We're not talking about a room or two of miners, combined there are tens of millions of high tech hardware machines on every continent with secured power sources and connections around the globe. With that computing power, add an ever growing AI and those who would "control" it...
