RE:Some Predictions for AR for 2024.............Please explain how Trump winning crushes the gold price? Particularly when he constantly berated Jerome Powell for not keeping rates at 0. Did he cut the deficit while he was president? No. Did he cut the trade deficit No. I don't see any use comparing now to 2008. In 2008 was the national debt 34 trillion? In 2008, how many countries had rejected the petrodollar? Now it's dead. In 2008 were we coming off double digit inflation? No. Do you think all the dollars in money markets and short term treasuries stay there in the face of a falling dollar with rate cuts?

In my opinion your post is very simplistic to say the least, and it looks a lot like you're reaching pretty hard to support your thesis here.
