RE:RE:RE:RE:MC and his options It has been announced with a N.R. That Onc will be having their Q4 report & general updates today @ 4:30pm
Typically in the past the update has been in the 3rd to 5th of March window.
Typically, but not always early am/ premarket.
Since the Q4 update is a legal reporting requirement & they have until the end of March to report, my read is as follows:
To produce the financial documents is not lenghly or a hard job. They have a CFO , full time job managing the $.
To produce a corporate " update" requires a lot of internal discussions, including a B.O.D meeting to approve what is going to be discussed & how.
so, pre report they needed to have a B.OD. Meeting.
Meaning financials done, and availability of the B.O. D. People together to discuss.
With that accomplished, then a public/ analysts/ investor update can proceed.
Regarding time of day? Same story, people need to be available.
perhaps the consensus was most analysts could be ok to chime in later in the day than earlier?
Point is when multiple people are involved, the timing becomes increasingly complicated the more people required.
I am currently on a B.O.D. Getting a simple meeting together with a quarum is difficult. Getting all board members , to be available not impossible, but very hard.
My point? Any speculation as to when, why, how regarding reporting dates & times is a waste of energy.

Could be they were waiting on solid data in the recent pancreatic cancer new goblet arm. AKA the PanCan funded $5million Florfirinox trial addendum.

Regardless of political affiliation, we have a stable government. Our economy could be self sufficient should we decide. Lots of resources.
Right now, about 26% of the world does not have access to clean safe drinking water.
instead of the multi billionaires trying to build a bigger rocket. They could/ should be investing in water desalination plants.
The big rockets go up & come back down. Costing hundreds of millions.
producing nothing.
A water desalination plant? Would provide technology upgrades & advances. Permant jobs & yes very needed water.
What do I know?
ONC needs $$ to advance to phase 3.
Maybe, the likes of Elon, or his billionaire colleagues could buy Onc with some loose change. There- by advancing cancer care.
Far more important & probable then dreaming about colonizing Mars.
