Obsidian Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and production company. The Viking is a light oil, horizontal development play located in central Alberta. Its operations are focused on the Esther area. Peace River is a stable, cold-flow, base production asset. It operates on a contiguous and an acreage within the heart of the Peace River Oilsands region.

In my view, this is a very good / productive / constructive podcast from the point of view of OBE shareholders.

It does an excellent job establishing that OBE is run by a CEO who knows how to spend shareholder's money on Value Opportunities; to capture and profit from market discounts; materially increase shareholder net worth, while minimizing risk and maximizing reward, thereby treating capital extremely well.

It was a very skillfully, and successfully deployed presentation of subliminal and explicit elements. Not something you see very often. I'm impressed.
