Finally!😃 After a long wait the US Senate has just passed ❓

Finally! After a long wait the US Senate has just passed the 6-bill budget package by a vote of 75 to 22 now on its way to President Biden's desk for signature. The bill injects $2.7 Billion into the US #Uranium sector to fund provisions in the '#Nuclear Fuel Security Act' and its expanded 'American Assured Fuel Supply Program' signed into law in December.

The $2.7 Billion will fund domestic US production of LEU and HALEU reactor fuel in order to offset the impact of a US ban on imports of enriched uranium from
#Russia and replenish/expand the strategic 'Uranium Reserve' thru DoE direct purchases of US-mined drums of physical #U3O8 from US producers.

This funding also paves the way for the Senate to now vote to pass the Prohibiting Russian Uranium Imports Act (H.R. 1042) that was passed by the House in December.
