Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

RE:RE:CANADIAN REITS

With H&R at this price, there will be no hesitation where I will be directing a lump sum cashflow from something like a SIB. H&R is incredible value at this price. As is Artis. However, one is a very, very long-term hold of 10+ years; and the other has short-term catalysts whereby the CEO is currently arbitraging the public to private valuation dislocation. Both worth holding here; and generational wealth to be made imho. Time will tell; my time preference is low.
