RE:My fear isI don’t see EVLV’s credibility issues as a problem for XTRA. Actually quite the opposite. The more scrutiny these systems undergo, the more our customers (security professionals) will gravitate to the company which doesn’t make false (questionable) promises, isn’t being investigated and isn’t being sued. All XTRA has to do is stick to its policy of factual disclosure in terms of the system’s capabilities including its possible shortcomings as long as these shortcomings are being addressed as they become known. Peter has always stressed that improving the system / reacting to customer feedback is XTRA’s highest priority.
PS: The icing on the cake would be a (hopefully rejected) buyout offer by EVLV. This would add more credibility to XTRA than any DHS approval ever could.
