BPO Ex-Dividend Week

BPO Ex-Dividend Week
All nine issues of BPO 5 year reset preferred shares went ex-dividend on Thursday.

Comparing today's closing price to last Friday's, it appears going ex-dividend did not affect the share price negatively.

Six of the nine issues showed a small gain for the week while three had a small loss.

All in all a very good week for owners of BPO preferred share considering the overall markets were mostly unchanged on the week while Canadian interest rates (Canada 5 year) were up a bit.

In the meantime traders on the short side will have to come up with slightly more than an estimated $200,000 to cover the dividends on March 28th.

KARMA.
