RE:Just how the 'f' does the Sherritt share price remain stableThat's the way these things go. Investors are "pavlovic" and for the most part asleep. See it all the time. A company can be teetering on insolvency but nothing changes until some announcement is made and them everyone takes off and the stock thats been sitting dormant for maybe a year suddenly falls 95%. I think investors basically just assume and hope for good news.
Not saying anything about sherritt.
But I saw this kind of thing in the small cap oil sector around 2016 to 2018. I had a number behave like that. All kind of talk that things will turn and fortunes will be made. I had 4 or 5 that never got to see things turn. They held steady for a year or so and then boom they went to zero.
Sherritt has a history of surviving. Will they this time? I'm hoping. But it wouldn't surprise me to see investors react to some press release and see the sp back to 10 cents or less.
The bonds are already sliding back towards all time lows and the bond market is a better indicator than the stock market.....more rational and calculating as opposed to the stock market thats more sentiment driven than anything else.
