Please Explain

Please ExplainSo we had a sector bump with some positive changes looking possible south of the border. There are posters making claims of short funds covering in fear of Tilray's SP bump. What exactly will change for Tilray in 2024 (not even going to look at 2025) that will improve sales from where they are now that would not of already been in place? Tilray has no MJ point of sale other than Medmen in the US. They have beer and distribution network, but no other point of sale other than Medmen. Even if Tilray were to announce they are buying Curaleaf the deal would not close in 2024. Why would shorts move hundreds of millions of dollars in fear of a dramatic change in Tilray fundamentals? There is still a big moat Tilray can't get over in 2024, the only LP that could possibly benefit in 2024 is CGC as they are basically an American company that gas all but left Canada. What's going on with the Tilray SP now is a short funds dream scenario, the higher the SP goes the better the dream gets as nothing has changed, markets are fwd thinking 6 months out not 6 years.
