Hudbay Minerals Inc. is a copper-focused mining company. The Company has operations and pipeline of copper growth projects in tier-one mining-friendly jurisdictions of Canada, Peru, and the United States. The Company’s operating portfolio includes the Constancia mine in Cusco (Peru), the Snow Lake operations in Manitoba (Canada) and the Copper Mountain mine in British Columbia (Canada). Its growth pipeline includes the Copper World project in Arizona, the Mason project in Nevada (United States), the Llaguen project in La Libertad (Peru) and several expansion and exploration opportunities near its existing operations. The Company owns 75% of the Copper Mountain Mine, which is located south of Princeton, British Columbia. Copper Mountain Mine is a conventional open pit, truck, and shovel operation. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:HBM needs to look at HPYMid-tier company is one that produces 350-500 ounces Au eq/year, they are now performing better than majors, so Hbm is practically mid-tier, if Hbm gets taken out for fair shair price, share holders would benefit, otherwise not, I know what are shareholders are thinking, major buys for 50-100% premium, and story is closed, no waiting, what would Hbm benefit from merging with CS, I think not much, except if Hbm mkt cap would be valued same as CS, Hbm has great projects, no need for merger, if Q4 numbers continue, debt is reduced, share price and mkt cap will go up, if Au, Cu, Ag prices rise further its totally different story, but even now its cash making machine, uranium went from 20-100 $, it was dead sector, look at it now, money goes around, but it always return to each sector, glta
