Top TSX Performers Over 10 Years

Top TSX Performers Over 10 Years

The list: Top TSX performers for the past decade — with dividends and without

A list of the top performers on the TSX for the past decade would contain some familiar names, including Royal Bank, Canadian Natural Resources and CN Rail. All three have posted impressive returns over the past 10 years, and a large part of the shareholder return has come in the form of dividends. Because when it comes to total returns, increases in the stock price couple with dividends to compound performance over time. While those three large caps are among the leaders, on today’s edition of BNNBloomberg’s The List we take a look at some other names on the TSX60 that have done evern better, including Constellation Software, Dollarama, Thomson Reuters and more. It’s a list of stock prices that have appreciated handsomely by themselves, but look even more impressive if you include the dividends they’ve paid out in their total shareholder return.
