Mitsubishi Ambitious 50% EV Lineup - has Secured its Lithium

Mitsubishi Ambitious 50% EV Lineup - has Secured its Lithium

Mitsubishi Motors North America

Mitsubishi....partly owned by Nissan since 2016 and has access to significant technical resources through the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
Mitsubishi introduced the short-lived i-MiEV, a small electric hatchback, around the same time as the Nissan Leaf dawned, and currently has plug-in hybrid models in the U.S.

The company announced plans to expand its electrified (hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and EV) lineup to 50 percent of its global sales by 2030, then on to 100 percent electrified by 2035. It stated that it will work in collaboration with its corporate alliance partners to achieve these goals.

Sourced in "Consumer Reports", I found this short read quite interesting about Mitsubishi's aggressive and ambitious EV production and sales objectives for 2030 (50% EV lineup) and subsequent 2035 target of 100% EV lineup to be achieved in "partnership" with alliance partners (for instance, Frontier Lithium).
To achieve 50% EV lineup by 2030, Mitsubishi needs to move in a very big way quickly.
