JV's are certainly not non dilutive.
When an explorer hooks up with a mining major thay have to give up say 50% of the deposit. Explorers do this because they do not have the capacity. But giving up 50% is not non dilutive, explorers shareholders lose 50% ownership over the deposit. This is dilutive.

Middleman or not?
Getting around the middleman to deal with the big fish, yeah makes sense. If you can make it work. At the same time do not get surprised if your middlemen get peeved.
