You say this like it is illegal, or not permitted, or something. Do you think it is, or are you really just asking the question?

If you are wondering, Canadian companies ARE permitted to make investments in foreign companies. When Canadian companies invest in foreign companies, they can provide resources, or capital.

In this case, ALY provided capital and retained their maketshare of MarketWall.
