2017 is kinda when this company really formed and started spending capital.
it was always realistically going to take 6-10 years worth of drilling before have enough wells for production to stabilize.
I have posted before, years ago, I thought ygr needed a stable of 250 wells before they should consider a dividend. I think you the well diversity.
ygr is now at like 240-250 range and they have like 10 bad ones so 10 more and they are close to that.
It could be one reason among the many obvious ones why management is pivoting towards a divy...finally more ready we'll count wise.
when ygr used to not drill like during COVID it rapidly dropped under 10000 boe a day.
ygr didnt have the base well count.
But now ygr can hold 10k a day boe easy and closer 11k.
Pine cliff isn't doing what anyone is doing they are doing opposite.
bought a company to drain a years cf from the assets without investing anything for future years.
