RE:Inglewood

RE:InglewoodHi NobleHouse... it is scary! Q-trade charges me 7.5% for CDN margin, and 9% for US margin (which I only use for small time option trading)... it has been totally worth it for the last 5 months, where the portfolio has literally doubled from the October lows.. Sure wasn't worth it when my portfolio went down 40% from Labour Day to Halloween last year!

I am now in this weird balancing act. Getting FOMO as I keep seeing stocks move up, and then a healthy dose of FEAR remembering what happened to me last fall. My strategy, for better or worse, has been to stay invested 95% of the time, and jumping out prior to CPI, PCE or other major data points (and each time so far, jumping back in once confirming the market isnt crashing). Had I not jumped out, I would be about $50K higher on a $850K portfolio ($250K margin debt). However, I am super fearful of a correction as the last 5 months have been out of this world.. I have not experienced a run like this in my short investing career.
