Meanwhile back at the ranch, Toyota is planning a staged introduction/development of a solid state electric battery.  This technological development with 8 minutes charging and a range of 1200km would change a lot of things.  Kinda reminds me of the moving from bulbs to transistors to solid state to microchips.  Anybody that is investing that wants to fight a shift now in car technology will suffer the same fate that those long ago who were adamant that these previous technologies had too many problems and wouldn't happen.

To me the key message in the article, and one that I have said repeatedly here, is for Governments to  let the market sort things out as opposed to dictating artifical deadlines.
