Kenorland Minerals Completes Winter Exploration Program at Frotet Project in Quebec

01:42 PM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kenorland Minerals (KLD.V) said Tuesday it completed the 2024 winter exploration program at the Frotet Project in northern Quebec.

Kenorland currently holds a 4% net smelter return royalty and is a temporary operator on the project, a joint venture with Sumitomo Metal Mining Canada.

The winter exploration program at the Regnault gold discovery reached completion with a total of 18,448 meters over 27 drill holes, with an average drill depth of 675 meters.

The program focused on infill and step-out targets along the R1, R5, R6, and R7 mineralized structures, as well as broad step-outs along the R4 structures at depth towards the north, and R9, R10, and R11 structures within the southern portions of the deposit area.

The drill results are expected to be released during the second and third quarters, the company said.

Kenorland shares were last seen down C$0.02 to C$0.76 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
